Strengthening Collaboration Between Albanian Engineering of Switzerland and Kosovar Institutions

On December 8, 2024, the Board of the Albanian Engineering of Switzerland (AES) met Donika Gërvalla, representing the Kosovar side as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, in Lausanne to discuss opportunities for collaboration with institutions in Kosovo.

Based on the Memorandum of Cooperation between AES and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the meeting highlighted the importance of leveraging engineering expertise from the diaspora. AES members in Switzerland were identified as a valuable resource to support initiatives that address key developmental needs.

AES representatives reaffirmed their commitment to contributing both within the Albanian community in Switzerland and to projects that promote sustainable development in Kosovo. Both parties agreed to maintain ongoing communication and explore further opportunities for collaboration.
